About the administrator

I am a sister, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, homeschool mom, Avon Independant Sales Ambassador, a born-again believer in the work of Jesus Christ to pay the price of our sins, for our salvation. I am persistent, responsible, quirky, and I try to be friendly. I am an introvert. I would rather type than speak. I have a lot more words when I type. I am a lover of colors. Yellow, Green, Pink, Orange, and a fall-ish dusky blue.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior at 5 years old.

I am the youngest of 5 girls.

I was born into the Generation X, the forgotten, overlooked, ignored generation.

My graduating class at Clermont High School (Go Highlanders!) was the smallest in school history. We numbered 117.

I am married 37 consecutive years to the first person to be diagnosed with ADHD in his country. A mother to 3 responsible adult children, they each have a bit of ADHD, some more than others. All my children were born early. The third, 4 months early, died after birth. The fourth, 3 months early, was born with Turner Syndrome. My parents were eccentric. That childhood prepared me for my adult life where we are rewriting “normal”.

I went through my early adult years with the proverbial support system being my husband, ADHD, and my Heavenly Father. My goal is to be a support to other women fighting in the trenches with ADHD as a constant companion. While her sisters shrug her off with “that’s nothing, watch this”, leaving her to struggle on her own, living with ADHD is no joke and not for the faint of heart. Be strong, take a deep breath & do the next thing. Let’s talk about the hard stuff we do and how our Heavenly Father is there to help us.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want

Psalm 23:1

The creative side of the equation…

My wonderful husband is also Generation X. He was born in Canada and diagnosed with ADHD about 5 years old. Back then they didn’t know what ADHD was! They said, “You’re different”.

The Stats

5 + Decades of Experience

The most important thing to understand about ADHD is that no 2 people exhibit it the same way.

And it’s best met with a healthy side of grace and forgiveness.

18 + years spent homeschooling

When the school said they would push her through the grades regardless of what she hadn’t learned, we know life was about to change.

100 % Potential for growth when walking with Jesus

I cannot imagine my life of living with ADHD, Turner Syndrome, homeschooling without my heavenly Father being right there with me. He is my comfort, my shelter, my savior.
